Pastor David Wayne Goins Jr.
Pastor David Wayne Goins Jr. is a Cincinnati native, raised in Avondale, with over 25 years of ministry experience and a passion for serving those often left out, locked out, and looked over. Known for preaching with power, passion, and practicality, his messages blend theological depth with real-life application.
He currently serves as Lead Pastor of Christ Emmanuel Christian Fellowship, where he and his wife, Lady Angel, assumed leadership in 2023, following Bishop Michael Dantley and Pastor Carol Dantley. Under his leadership, the church has experienced strengthened membership, expanded ministry, and renewed vision.
Previously, he led New Evergreen Ministries in Avondale for over a decade, where the church saw significant growth and impact locally and globally.
An avid student of Scripture and life, Pastor Goins is known for his bold conviction: “God has called me to tell on the devil.” He is a devoted husband and father to three sons Dallas, Dion, and Dylan.
Lady Angel “L.A.” Goins
Lady Angel “L.A.” Goins is a compassionate leader and trusted voice to women, devoted to helping them heal, grow, and walk in wholeness. A Cincinnati native and product of Avondale ministry, she has served faithfully in ministry for over 25 years alongside her husband, Pastor David Goins.
Lady Angel is known for her authenticity, wisdom, and ability to connect deeply with women from all walks of life, especially those that are hurting, who feel unseen or overlooked.
Through mentorship, conversations, and everyday moments, she empowers women to become whole—physically, emotionally, and spiritually. Her presence creates space for healing, and her voice calls women into purpose.
Above all, she is a devoted wife and mother, living out her faith and her family-first commitment with grace and strength. Together, they carry the motto: “We can’t stop, we won’t stop.”
